BUDX
TOM DE REGT

For my collaboration with Bud, I was asked to design a beanie and a limited edition jacket. The beanie is available at each Bud stockist throughout The Netherlands as of November 9th, 2020, featuring a 3D embroidered Bud ‘B’ with three additional patches and a woven label that can be applied based on personal preference. The ten varsity jackets are won only through a randomly selected raffle. They include overlapping chenille embroidery on the front and back of the coat and leather sleeves and wool body. They are numbered as well as custom embroidered with the raffle winners’ names. For the campaign images and look book, I worked closely with and collaborated with photographer Calvin Pausania.

Nike X Atmos – Collage Workshop

When Nike and Atmos released their Air Max 2 — I was asked to host a collage workshop befitting the sneaker’s patchwork collage aesthetic. Together with Nathan Lewis, we helped a group of sneaker culture influencers to create original content surrounding the release on Air Max day.

Alpha Industries X
Daily Paper

I was approached by Daily Paper to work on the direction and graphic design for their collaboration with Alpha Industries. The collection concept tells the story of Zambian scientist Edward Nkoloso’s dream to build Zambia’s first-ever space program to visit the moon and send his so-called ‘Afronaunts’ to Mars. Despite his efforts to obtain funding from the Western world, his dream never became a reality. Nevertheless, Nkoloso gave his people the hope that no matter how big the vision, it was there for the taking. The MA-1 bomber jacket seeks to explore Nkoloso’s dream coming true by reimagining a unique iteration of the iconic MA-1 bomber jacket.

Daily Paper
SS17

I worked as the lead graphic designer on the branding for Daily Paper’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection.

For this collection Daily Paper drew inspiration from the colorful body decoration used by the Surma tribe. This expressive tribe inhabits the Omo Valley area in southern Ethiopia. Their resourceful usage of the territories flora and fauna has sparked many photographers from around the world. Dressing in twigs, flowers, leaves, and painting each other’s bodies with clay, they influenced Daily Paper to design their most colorful collection to date.

Denham X
Daily Paper

Denham invited Daily Paper to co-design a limited-edition collection for men. Mickey Cohen and I designed the graphics for the collaboration.

The capsule collection featured a jacket, a drop-tail shirt, shorts, and a graphic tee, the styles combine Denham’s signature indigo aesthetic and iconic scissor logo with Daily Paper’s eclectic, African-inspired influences. Shield graphics and embroideries meet pieced-repair details and denim fabrics; each piece plays with tonal blue and chambray mixes for a totally unique look.

Daily Paper
Flagship T-Shirt

I was asked to design a graphic for the opening of Daily Paper’s first flagship store in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The flagship store T-shirt has become an all time favourite among Daily Paper enthousiast and is a staple piece in their collection. The graphic is altered for every store, from pop-up’s in Africa to their New York store opening — showing the flag of the country or city and the address of the store. On multiple occasions it was used as a special invitation to an opening.
